Modular Platform Architecture

The 6D-X is built on a hardware-agnostic, software-defined philosophy. Every subsystem — perception sensors, drive motors, battery packs, mission payloads — connects through standardized electrical and mechanical interfaces governed by a central VCU (Vehicle Control Unit). Swap a reconnaissance camera for a rescue gantry: the VCU detects the new hardware, loads the matching strategy, and deploys without touching driver code.

The platform supports flexible wheel configurations from 4 to 8 wheels — add or remove motors and axles as the mission demands. Custom mounting brackets and fixture plates can be machined and installed on the chassis deck to secure any functional hardware payload, from weapon stations to sensor suites to cargo containers. One chassis, infinite missions.

Distributed Electric Powertrain

A mid-mounted dual-motor distributed drive system delivers independent torque to each wheel. An onboard range extender ensures the battery stays charged during long-duration autonomous missions — no return-to-base for recharging.

Front-axle steering combined with wheel-end differential control achieves a turning radius tight enough for urban alleyways and off-road switchbacks alike.
